Here's a very nice Aglianico with power and extract but better overall balance and harmony. The fruit comes from 30-year-old vines and is aged in tonneaux, a combination of new and neutral French oak. Yes, the 2014 Aglianico del Vulture Liscone is another big Basilicata red, but you can get it down without too much trouble, especially if it is paired with stewed game.
