The star of this attractive trio is the 1999 Zinfandel Critical Mass (15.6% alcohol). While not complex, it is a sexy, explosive Zinfandel fruit bomb offering compelling drinking. Layer upon layer of black cherry, currant, and blackberry fruit tumble over the palate. The oak is kept well in the background.
