The 2010 Garnacha (70%) – Tempranillo (30%) fermented and aged in tank. Spice box, violets, incense, and black cherry aromas set the stage for a ripe, round, easy-going red with good balance and length. Drink it over the next 2-3 years. Bodega San Jose de Aguaron is a large cooperative in the DO of Carinena that controls approximately 1200 hectares with 60% of the vines consisting of Garnacha, 70% of them over 50 years of age. All of their Carinena holdings are bush vines over 45 years of age. Its main brand is labeled Monasterio de las Vinas. No known American importer
