The 2017 Alto Adige Weissburgunder Pinot Bianco Riserva Passion offers a bouquet that is very typical of the variety, with white limestone first and foremost followed by white rose, pear and Golden Delicious apple. Perhaps the fragrance and the aromatic intensity is knocked down a notch or two in this hot vintage, or the wine might just need more time to unfold. Some 15,000 bottles were made.
