The 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Andriana's Cuvee is composed of estate fruit blended with purchased grapes. It reveals an open-knit bouquet of sweet black cherries, plums, earth and spice. Made in a more plush style than the Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, it is a medium-bodied, generously endowed, seductive red to enjoy now and over the next decade. The serious 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon Andriana’s Cuvee is a 6,500-case, 100% Cabernet Sauvignon that spent 20 months in French oak. It possesses a dark ruby/purple color as well as good structure and density, plenty of loamy soil, black currant, herb, and spice characteristics, and 5-6 years of drinkability. Tel. Finding an excellent one is almost impossible. But that is exactly what this elegant, tasty, black currant, cedar, licorice, and spice box-scented 2005 delivers.
