Juicy, ripe and focused with expressive red and black fruit tones that sway with delightful brown baking spices, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon offers a firm, rocky and floral nose. Medium to full-bodied, the wine shows a balanced structure and succulent acidity. It ends with a bright, red-fruited finish with a lively tannic edge. This wine will remain food-friendly until its 10th birthday. Give it a try.

Blended with 4% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon has a core of black and red fruit on the nose along with soft sweet oak tones that sway out of the glass with cinnamon, nutmeg and cardamom aromas. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is ripe and open-knit, with a balanced structure, lifting tannins and energetic acidity. The finish lingers with oak essence and dusty blackberry tones. This is accessible and ready to drink now. It’s delicious. 1,900 cases produced.

The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon offers more depth and richness as well as notes of tobacco leaf, black currants, charred earth and chocolate. With medium-bodied richness, sweet tannin and good acidity, it's another solid effort from this estate to drink over the coming 6-7 years.

The outstanding 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon (there’s 5% each of Cabernet Franc and Merlot) gives up lots of leafy herbs, tobacco, cassis and sweet black cherries in a full-bodied, rich, rounded, sexy style that carries notable purity and balance. It will keep for at least a decade.

My notes on this wine, which was probably the fifth or sixth wine I’d tasted from them, started with “I love what these guys do.” The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon is another terrific value that delivers on all counts. Classic in style, with pretty notes of red and black fruits, lead pencil shavings, leafy herbs and hints of spring flowers, it’s ripe, balanced, medium to full-bodied and nicely concentrated, with an endearing, charming profile that keeps you wanting another sip. I’d drink it over the coming 4-7 years, but it will hold longer.
