The 2007 Semillon is medium straw-colored with an aromatic array of bee’s wax, melon, earth, and floral notes. Ripe on the palate with good grip and length, it should drink nicely over the next 2-3 years. Owner/winemaker Justin Wylie’s story, while not quite Horatio Alger-like, involves purchasing a wheat field and within a decade building it into a thriving vineyard and winery.
