Deep purple-black in color, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper Vineyard has a beautiful perfume of violets and lavender, over a core of blackcurrant pastilles, redcurrant jelly and plum preserves, plus a hint of black truffles. Full-bodied, soft and juicy, the palate has an impressive array of earthy sparks on the long finish. Tasted as a barrel sample.

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper Vineyard has a gorgeous perfume of dried lavender, rose hip tea, tilled soil and fallen leaves, over a core of cassis, black cherry preserves and cinnamon toast. Full-bodied, firm, fine-grained and super intense in the mouth, it has lovely freshness and a long and opulent finish.

A finished barrel sample blend, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper Vineyard is very deep purple-black colored and gives up notes of baked blackberries, raisins and spice cake with tobacco and sautéed herbs hints. The palate is full-bodied, firm, chewy and a little hollow and rustic.

A barrel sample, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper Vineyard has an inky purple-black color and nose of mocha and charcuterie over a crème de cassis and blueberry pie core with mulberries and black forest cake hints, plus a waft of iron ore. Plush, velvety-textured and rich in the mouth, the full-bodied palate has a solid structure to support the decadent fruit through the long, earthy/mineral finish.
