Very distinctive aroma of eucalyptus and mint. Layered wine with spice, currantly fruit and a minty finish. Agreeable, generous and loose knit. Alc: 14.5%.

Dark cherry, berry and a certain level of sweetness give this wine a ripe opening. The palate is fruity and a touch buttery due to full oak, while the flavors are also oaky but fold in spice, carob and berry flavors. Dry and peppery on the finish.——M.S.(6/1/2011)—— 88

Not as dark and sticky as many wines of this variety; the nose is defined by cherry and raspberry along with barnyard and animal hide.
