Made from purchased fruit at a winery on the Central Coast, the 2021 Chardonnay was barrel fermented in third-use oak, completed its malolactic fermentation and was stirred monthly during its nine months of élevage. Scents of butter, grilled pear and a hint of sweet corn appear on the nose, while the palate is medium to full-bodied, plump and generous, even a touch warm, then soft and oily on the finish.
