The 2004 L’Arbossar was expressive but still seemed reticent. There were aromas of clove, cinnamon, baking spices, kirsch, and black cherry followed by a ripe wine with sweet fruit and medium- to full-body. The wine has a solid core of fruit but seems chunky and attenuated on the mid-palate.
