The 2013 Puligny-Montrachet Village, racked from the lees just before the 2014 harvest, has a taut, chalky bouquet with just a touch of “potters’ wheel” in the background. The palate is brisk and lively, not complex, but fresh and balanced with citrus lemon and orange rind toward the harmonious finish. This should drink well over the next six or seven years.
