A rare mono-varietal expression, the 2010 Trebbiano di Soave Massifitti impresses on all levels. Trebbiano di Soave is usually seen in small percentages as a blending agent in Soave Classico and rarely vinified on its own. The grape delivers more in terms of mouthfeel than it does aromatically, and that defining characteristics is made clear here. Massifitti is a masculine white wine with thick lines and subtle tones of pressed flower and natural rubber. It is compelling, though, and built to last longer than most whites. Drink 2014-2018.
