Tightly-knit, but promising, is the full-bodied 2001 Chardonnay Fournier Vineyard. A nose of acacia flowers, buttered citrus, minerals, and tropical fruits makes an appearance in this tightly wound yet well-endowed Chardonnay. Crisp acidity underlies its powerful flavors. Give it another year of bottle age and drink it over the following 5-6, although I suspect it may last a decade. Tel. (707) 963-8600; Fax (707) 963-7818
