The 2009 RESERVA “OLHO DE MOCHO” white, all Antao Vaz, adds layers of oak to the regular Branco reviewed this issue. It is more stern and serious, likely a little more ageworthy. Although it admirably avoids being laced with annoying vanilla notes, its stylistic differences make it different…but not necessarily more pleasing, depending on your preferences.
