The 2007 Chianti Classico (Sangiovese) possesses terrific balance in its core of ripe, dark fruit. This is an especially rich, concentrated style of Chianti Classico that is quite harmonious, even if it isn’t especially varietal in its expression. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2013.
