One of the best Semillon’s I have tasted from Australia is Rick Burge’s 2005 Semillon Olive Hill. A one-hundred percent Semillon, it is a gorgeous, light gold-hued effort displaying beautiful honeyed citrus, waxy, tropical fruit, and orange rind characteristics. With impeccable purity, fine ripeness, and a lovely texture, this stunning Semillon should drink well for several years, although it may last much longer.
