I consistently love the Gigondas from this estate, and their 2012 Gigondas is outstanding. A blend of 65% Grenache and 35% Syrah that’s aged 40% in tank and 60% in foudre, it gives up classic Gigondas spice and peppery herbs to go with plenty of sweet berry fruit, underbrush and earth. Medium-bodied, juicy and pure, with surprising elegance, it will have 10-12 years of longevity.
