The 2006 Terre di San Leonardo shows a little more character than the 2007, but much of that may come from an extra year in bottle. Sweet tobacco, herbs and cedar add complexity to the dark red fruit. This medium-bodied, juicy Bordeaux-styled red offers excellent drinking over the near and medium term. The Terre di San Leonardo is Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2015.
