Medium ruby colored in the glass, the 2019 Columbia Valley Merlot has an open and expressive nose with notes of dusty plum, bitter black tea, black cherry and sage aromas. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is currently tannic with a firm dusty edge that will loosen and shed its baby fat with additional years in the bottle.
