A proprietary blend of 70% Sangiovese and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 1999 Corbaia is outrageously rich. Made in a full-bodied style infused with notes of cigar smoke, espresso, chocolate, black cherries, and cassis, this opulently-textured, mouthfilling red spent two years in new French oak prior to being bottled unfiltered. It should drink well for a decade or more.
