The 2008 Gevrey-Chambertin is a pretty wine with striking purity in its aromas and flavors, but ultimately it comes across as a touch frail and fleeting. This is a case where I preferred the generosity of the 2009. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2018. This is a striking set of wines from Christian Serafin.
