The 1995 Chianti Classico Le Masse di Greve Riserva exhibits an opaque purple color, and a big, sweet, black cherry, spicy, peppery, herb, and earth-scented nose. In the mouth, the wine is ripe, with medium body, moderate tannin, and a leathery, bing cherry, spicy finish. The wine is still unevolved, and in need of another 1-2 years of cellaring.
