Matured 16 months in 300-liter French hogsheads of which 11% were two-year-old, 33% three-year-old, 38% four-year-old and 18% five-year-old, the 2011 Bush Vine Grenache is medium garnet-purple in color with aromas of raspberry preserves and crushed mulberries over suggestions of mandarin peel, white pepper and cardamom. Full-bodied and voluptuously fruited in the mouth, it gives tons of spiced red berry flavor layers with balancing acidity and medium levels of chewy tannins. It finishes long. Drink it now to 2019+. Imported by USA Wine West, Sausalito CA for World Wine HQ.
