The 1994 Semillon is an excellent example of this underappreciated varietal. Enticing aromas of honey intermingled with notes of candied pink grapefruit are followed by a light-to-medium-bodied, thirst-quenching wine filled with loads of spices, citrus fruits and honey. Made for immediate consumption, it is not complex, but this Semillon delivers loads of near term pleasure. A wonderful aperitif wine. Drink it over the next year.Tel. (509) 786-4557.
