The 2006 Aljibes Cabernet Franc (100%) was the only wine produced by the Bodega at this level due to the challenges of a very difficult year. The wine spent 14 months in second use French oak. Smoke, herbs, mineral, and assorted black fruits inform the nose of this savory, ripe, elegant, already complex Cabernet Franc. Medium-bodied, velvety-textured, and impeccably balanced, it will evolve for 2-3 years and offer a drinking window extending from 2013 to 2021.
