The 2005 D & OH (referring to Draycott and Olive Hill Vineyards) is composed of 80% Shiraz and 20% Grenache matured 50% in stainless steel and 50% in used French oak. Medium crimson in color, it features aromas of spice box, violets, lavender, kirsch, and blueberry. This is followed by a medium-bodied wine with a smooth texture, savory cherry and blueberry flavors, and a sense of elegance. The wine dances delicately across the palate into a lengthy, graceful finish. This stylish effort can be enjoyed now and over the next 10 years.
