The 2014 Petit Hipperia has a very fresh and zippy nose, I don't know if it's the varietal mix or the vintage, as it has more Cabernet Franc and Merlot, but 2014 was a very balanced vintage. The blend was 46% Cabernet Sauvignon, 38% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot, which produced a fruit-driven, juicy red, with good acidity and balance, and a very tasty finish. Very good value, too. 55,600 bottles produced.
