The 2013 Hacienda López de Haro Reserva, mostly Tempranillo with some Graciano, has notes of cherries in liqueur and integrated oak. The palate is medium-bodied, with polished tannins and lively acidity. 200,000 bottles produced.

The second bottle of the 2009 Hacienda Lopez de Haro Reserva was much better, with aromas of ripe red and black cherries and sweet spices, a really polished palate with fully resolved tannins and some tertiary flavors for those who favor bottle-aged reds. It ends slightly astringent. 350,000 bottles produced.
