The opaque purple-colored 2007 Les Eres Vinyes Velles exhibits notions of smoky black fruits, liquid minerality, Asian spices, lavender and black cherry. Nicely proportioned, sweetly fruited, and intense, it has a bit more stuffing than the Sentius and will evolve for 2-3 years. Drink this tasty Priorat from 2013 to 2022. The 2006 Les Eres Vinya Velles is composed of 55% Carinena old vines, 30% Garnacha old vines, and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon. It was aged in new French oak for 18 months. Also purple/black in color, it displays a fragrant, alluring perfume of pain grille, mineral, licorice, espresso, blackberry, and blueberry. Thick, layered, and full-bodied on the palate, it is loaded withsavory fruit, packs serious power, and has exceptional length.
