The 2008/2009 The Prophetess is 66% Syrah and 34% Mourvedre. It shows excellent juiciness in its black fruit, but limited varietal expression. The tannic finish conveys an impression of limited complexity. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2018. This is an interesting set of wines from Sans Liege and proprietor Curt Schalchlin.
