Better, with additional richness and depth, the 2011 Seven Hills Vineyard is an outstanding mix of 53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 21% Cabernet Franc, 16% Merlot and 10% Petit Verdot, all of which was aged 17 months in 39% new French oak. Smoked black fruits, charcoal, wood smoke and toasted spice all give way to a medium to full-bodied, beautifully concentrated and nicely structured Bordeaux blend that will benefit from short-term cellaring and have 10 to 15 years of overall longevity.
