Costers del Priorat’s 2008 Elios is a blend of 50% Garnacha, 25% Carinena, with the balance Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. It proffers primary black fruits, spice box, and floral notes in an easy-to-understand style. It packs plenty of power but not much subtlety. Drink this excellent value over the next 5-6 years.
