This winery’s Zinfandels usually stand out in tastings for their high quality, although in this portfolio we are dealing with a problematic vintage. The 2011 Zinfandel Cortina (14.8% alcohol) displays a cedary, berry fruit-scented nose with lots of spice, pepper and earth scents, medium body, good material on the attack and mid-palate, and a narrow finish.
