The 2015 Puligny-Montrachet Le Trezin saw 25% new oak and was taken from tank. There is a hint of oyster shell and crustacea on the well-defined, personality-driven bouquet. I like the energy conveyed here. The palate is well balanced with a caressing entry, the acidity nicely judged and the new oak lending subtle tropical hints, guava and pineapple, which combine seamlessly with the lemon curd and passion fruit notes on the finish. Probably too delicious to cellar, though I suspect it will age, this is a fine Le Trezin from Domaine Marc Colin.
