There are 149 cases of the dense, concentrated 2014 Airavata Syrah. A blend of Gimblett Gravels (67%) and Te Awanga (33%) fruit, released only in top vintages, the 2014 aged in 71% new French oak. Cedar, blackberry and black olive notes dominate, although hints of mocha, plum, blueberry and peppery spice also make appearances. It's medium to full-bodied, with supple tannins and a long, silky finish.
