The estate’s 2001 Barolo normale is a pretty, accessible wine, displaying spice, toasted oak, licorice and sweet fruit in a mid-weight style with much overall harmony. It is made from a blend of vineyards in Barolo, Perno and La Morra and aged in equal parts barrique and cask. Anticipated maturity: 2006-2013.
