The 2006 Barolo Gallinotto reveals a plush core of dark fruit, sweet spices and licorice. Round and harmonious through to the finish, this soft, generous Barolo is a strong candidate for drinking over the next few years. Chocolate, spices and sweet French oak linger on the close. Anticipated maturity: 2010-2016.
Mauro Molino’s 2006 Barolos are among the most forward examples of the vintage, and are excellent choices for readers looking for wines to enjoy with a minimum of cellaring.
