This property, which has had an uneven track record over the last several decades, has had adequate back-to-back vintages in 1989 and 1990. The dark color of the 1990 is followed by a wine with an attractive nose of sweet fruit, oak, and spices. In the mouth, the wine exhibits decent concentration, glycerin, and alcohol, soft tannins, and an abrupt finish. Drink it over the next decade.
