Intense, dark robe. Fruity and creamy on the nose, rather like a Pomerol. On
the palate it is dense, very fruity, mellow, rounded in the middle and creamy,
again like a Pomerol, with elegant hints of vanilla and liquorice. Lovely smooth
wine, especially nice, which has steered clear of being hard this year with
nevertheless 30% of Cabernet Franc. Is Laroze on the point of finding its style?
Its clayey soil was obviously a real asset when it was so dry in 2011.
