Made from a collection of miscellaneous parcels too small to bottle under their vineyard names, the 1999 Zinfandel Old Vines (1,800 cases, 15.8% alcohol) offers aromas and flavors of black fruits, a muscular, briery, peppery, forceful personality, a seamless texture, copious glycerin, amazing concentration, and a smooth finish.
