The 2017 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru La Boudriotte was also showing brilliantly, unfurling in the glass with notes of pear, white toast, orange oil and white flowers. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, satiny and incisive, with terrific old vine concentration, racy acids, and a long, chalky finish. This is well worth seeking out.
