Offering a complex bouquet, the dark garnet-colored 1997 Barolo Vigna Gancia reveals scents of balsam wood, herbs, licorice, cherry liqueur, and soy. Additionally, it possesses firm tannin, good density and ripeness, and a rich, medium to full-bodied, plush yet delineated personality.
